Superb treatment. I had root canal done an hour ago. I was well informed about it, then relaxed to the best playlist. Needless to say, zero pain, only comfort and pleasure. Like going to a spa.

After years of longing for straight teeth & wanting braces but being apprehensive about the whole thing, I decided to take the leap and start my journey in 2021 and I am so glad I did! From start to finish, every member of the team have been so kind, so professional and so accommodating to every need. From swapping appointments due to my random shift patterns to the actual care for my teeth, nothing has been too much trouble. Beth was my orthodontist and she was amazing - my teeth are perfect and she was so friendly every time I saw her, putting me completely at ease at every appointment. If you’re considering any kind of dental/orthodontic work, I couldn’t recommend this place enough (and have done to many of my friends & family!!). Thank you for giving me my smile that I’m no longer self conscious about showing off! :)

I had booked a consultation with Eithne Fyfe because my own dentist told me the only solution to my problem was an extraction. I had no previous experience of dental specialists and therefore chose at random. I was initially very happy they could see me straight away. From then on everyone was so friendly and reassuring. And when I met with Eithne I realised how experienced she was and decided to go ahead. She was gentle and efficient, reassuring and so kind. I could not recommend Bristol Dental Specialists enough - a five star service. Ben Cross was my dentist and he was so accommodating to my situation: I wanted to do Invisalign but during a year where I was travelling lots for work and not in Bristol regularly. They set me up with a small scanner so I could send photos remotely each week and Ben would respond within a few hours to update me on progress (whether I could move on to my next retainer or if I needed to stay on my current one for a day or two longer). Ben also helped me sort a scan out in Houston at one point! The team there were always on hand to answer any questions - really happy with the the results and the service.

I can not thank Ben Cross enough for the amazing treatment and service he provided throughout and after my Invisalign Journey. I have had so many compliments about my teeth post treatment and this is all down to Ben and his professionalism and experience working with Invisalign. Although my Invisalign journey was longer than expected, I am so happy and grateful to Ben for the end result.

Ben and the team at BDS could not have been more helpful and easy to deal with. Ben has transformed my smile from looking like a row of tombstones to clean, straight and symmetrical. I cannot fault my treatment from dental specialists Bristol in anyway. Especially Adrian Watts tho everyone I came into contact with was v professional but also kind. I have always dreaded dental appointments but with Adrian I no longer did. So much so that I will be having further treatment by him. I was recently referred to Adrian at the Bristol Dental Specialists, by my NHS dentist, to have a tooth implant. I have just had my final appointment to fit the implant and I have been very pleased with the treatment I have received throughout the procedure. At my first appointment, Adrian talked me through the different options open to me and I was able to make an informed decision as to which I wished to have. At each appointment I attended I was made to feel very welcome and at ease; Adrian was very personable and professional. The whole procedure was painless and I am extremely pleased with the result.

As an ongoing patient of Bristol Dental Specialists since April 2021, I have much praise for the team. My complex case has been overseen by Lyndon Meehan. At each stage, I felt there was careful consideration into the best course of action. I have spoken to three of their specialists before they decided root canal treatment would be the starting point. Due to a large infection from many years of neglect, my dental health has suffered. Lyndon explained in great detail what he planned to do and reassured me as we went along. He has reviewed the progress on follow-up appointments and stalled on finishing the root canal filling until he is satisfied the infection has been managed. He also keeps my financial interests at the forefront of his approach. At no point have I been made to feel rushed into a procedure. It's a shame he is now moving on from BDS as well as Agnieszka the dental nurse who assisted him. They were a great team who made me feel comfortable during these daunting visits. Overall, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I am looking forward to building the same trust with whoever comes next.

Having a fear of dentists after some unpleasant dentist experiences as a child, I have put off having an implant for over a decade. My very good NHS dentist recommended Adrian Watts and Bristol Dental Specialists, my first experience of private treatment. Adrian, ably assisted by Chloe, couldn't have been better. A combination of professionalism, skill, state-of-the-art equipment and compassion meant that, after my initial consultation, I was confident enough to go ahead with the treatment . At every stage, the whole team kept me well-informed, including after care instructions. Not the cheapest option but certainly value for money. I would highly recommend.

I came to Bristol Dental Specialists, as a Former orthodontic patient of Darren, having found myself in dire need of help after poor dental work elsewhere led to a cracked root and over 18 months of pain, infection and misdiagnosis by my regular dentist. My first consultation was with Lyndon who identified the source of my problem and advised that the tooth was beyond saving, referring me to Adrian. Adrian has been incredible. I had nerve damage arising from the previous issue and he supported me through that, extracting the broken tooth and installing an implant. Every step of the journey I’ve felt well cared for, have been advised and made fully aware of what’s happening, received great aftercare and follow up and now we’re here. My implant journey (for the moment) complete but with full knowledge that I have a specialist in whom I have absolute confidence should the need arise for further work. The implant process itself was far more straightforward than I’d anticipated; the alternative for me had been an appliance (bridge work) but I’m really happy that I opted for the implant. It looks exactly as my tooth had, the alignment is perfect, there’s no special care required (over and above regular teeth cleaning) and I can’t understand why more folk don’t opt for this solution (I’m in my 40’s and the prospect of a removable appliance just wasn’t on my horizon. I’ve no hesitation in a solid five star review, I could go into great detail about the traumatic period that preceded my treatment but it’s been transformative, far beyond cosmetic benefit. Huge thanks to Adrian and the whole team.

Excellent experience. I have had difficult experiences with dentists in the past, I've found the process can often be untransparent, there is a significant power differential and it's painful! However, I've had nothing but a good experience working with Adrian, he has been very straightforward, there is little hard sell, he's happy to explain things. You get a real sense that he's good at what he does, and enjoys it (!!!). The whole team are very friendly, the room has a lovely view of Berkley Square. It doesn't feel obsessed with aesthetics or overly medicalised. I'm not sure it's the cheapest option, but if you can afford it I would recommend it.

We moved from Sydney to Bristol half way through our two son's orthodontic treatment. Ben Cross came highly recommended and luckily was super convenient being only a 5 min walk from the boy's school - so they could pop over for any appointments themselves. My daughter was treated by Mrs Rebecca John for serious discolouration of her front incisor. The discolouration made my teenage daughter feel self-conscious. Mrs John is very knowledgable, highly qualified, research lead consultant who looked at my daughter's issue in a very complex manner, taking into consideration both long-term and medium term medical, aesthetic and psychological prospects. Mrs John explained all the possible options and every step of all procedures thoroughly, including all the possible risks and consequences. She also patiently answered numerous questions I had. As for the treatment, Mrs John did microabrasion followed by a composite veneer. The main aim of the procedure was asthetical to remove the visibility of the stain and to match the colour of the treated incisor with the other one. The end effect is stunning and my daughter certainly feels confident now.

My 11 year old daughter is very anxious about going to the dentist. Rebecca and Aga were incredibly kind to Katy, put her immediately at ease and made sure she understood that she was in control, in terms of her treatment. They explained the treatment to her and in simple terms, the impact of having/not having the treatment. My daughter was able to watch programmes, during her treatment, which she had chosen, which helped to distract her and Rebecca and Aga were both so lovely chatting to her about school/home/hobbies etc to build a relationship/trust. Her anxiety levels have reduced, as a result of seeing Rebecca and Aga, and we left our appointments, having had a positive experience each time.

I have recently started treatment here with braces and not only have been very impressed with the quality of the care I received, the staff really went the extra mile to work with me as a client. Bethan, Rebecca and the rest of the team really understood my personal case and spent time with me to find solutions. I've been really happy with the results so far!

This was my first experience of having any major treatment done, namely, having root canal treatment, requiring four hours of work over two sessions and I couldn't be happier with the whole process along with the final results. The whole team was extreamly friendly, helpful and highly competent and the user experience was the best I've experienced; From Darren first greeting me before I had even entered the building, or answering and finding out any queries I had between or after sessions, to Lyndon and Agnieszka carrying out the treatment, I was never in any doubt as to what to expect from each treatment session or the payment process. Lyndon was meticulous with his work. I was never in any pain and I was comfortable throughout. He knew exactly what he was doing and his experience and knowledge all shone through and I learnt a lot during the process. Absolutely fantastic! 5 months of treatment and each bi monthly visit was a joy. The high level of care I received from Darren on reception and Hayley during each session I have rarely seen before. They made me feel so relaxed and looked after knowing I was going through some tricky and sometimes very uncomfortable surgery.
