I moved away to another practise because I moved house, but they even said they could hardly see that it was a filling as it was done really well and said some dentists would prefer to avoid it. They said those procedures are very difficult on wisdom tooths. So 2 years later not had any issues with my filling. Although I won't be coming back for annul checkups, i'd definitely be travelling down again if I need any fillings or complex procedures. Thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr Nilesh for more than 3 years and the minimum I can give is five stars. I had a serious problem with a wisdom tooth and my face was swollen and after the extraction not only my pain was immediately gone, but the symmetry of my face was restored in a few months. I have since removed another wisdom tooth which was also causing problem and again the service was top notch. Although I am not a dentist, every time I go for an appointment or hygiene it feels like I am on a dentist class with the explanation of the procedure. I genuinely cannot recommend another place if you need dental care.

As someone that has always looked after my teeth for many years, I have always had bad anxiety and was always nervous about going to the dentist, but that's only because of past/recent health difficulties that I suffer with on a daily basis even though my diet is good.
I have been a long time patient of Dr Nilesh and I have had quite alot of treatment from him including an implant, white fillings, composite bondings, and more.....His professionalism, his knowledge, his advice, his care, his manners, his kindness and more has helped me so much over-come my fear for the dentist and I would advise anyone to him. I want to mention the reception staff also that are always very welcoming, and are always happy to help you. I also want to say how good the hygienst are also and the nursing staff are as well. The advice and knowledge given really does help me, very reassuring!!
I would highly recommend you join up with the Dental plan they offer which I have which is the Gold membership. With this you get 4 hygeinists a year and 2 check ups and more benefits. there is also other plans you can do i think but I just like the fact that my routine checks and teeth are consistently checked/cleaned all year around whilst knowing each month you are covered and that your teeth are well looked after all year round.
The dentist itself is very clean, (to posh for me haha) but I just love the whole experience of it from parking up (you can use there own car park spots without the stress of leaving your car abandoned somewhere else and the receptionists will help you) to being well looked after, treated and cared for and just felt like a valued patient of Gartside street Dental lounge.
I want to thank all the staff at Gartside and especailly Dr Nilesh Bhatt for making my whole Dental experience more enjoyable and comfortable as it, He has also felt like a good friend also and always has time to listen to my concerns and worries with my other health issues that I have. Very reassured and grateful as always. THANK YOU!!!!!

Really lovely clinic. I have dental anxiety and historically have had traumatic experiences with dentists but gartside st have been amazing. Amy and Nilesh in particular have been very reassuring regarding my treatment (in my case two scale and polishes, a couple of fillings alongside maintenance) and the dental hygienists have helped me build confidence and routine with teeth brushing and flossing. There’s definitely a premium to pay (with location and quality of care for example) but the feeling of safety and calm I have felt has definitely been worth paying for and I see myself staying here for care long term. Thank you for all of the help 😊.

I contacted the clinic and was contacted through WhatsApp (not phone, which is VERY important to a millennial haha) I was already glad, then got booked in next day for my first appointment and had the treatment done there and then by Romina (who was recommended to me), best experience I've had with dentists in England and how every dentist should be, transparent, open, keep the patient in the loop of what's happening in their mouth step by step, took photos to show the problem too, it's been a few days now after I had a filling and I have no issues with it, will definitely recommend to people I know and will probably not go anywhere else as long as I stay in this city :)

Wanted to wait til treatment ended to post in full how much dr nilesh helped me but in the meantime I’ll say it’s been the best thing I’ve done in many years.
There’s a lot of crooks about and nilesh isn’t one. That’s really rare in dentistry. People usually just want to drill and fill and will do anything for money. It’s not like that with him. Which is why I trust him pretty much with my health/life quality and I don’t really think I can say that about any other medical professional.
Also just want to add that I pretty much hate going to the dentist but if I ever need to in future he’s who I’ll see. Hopefully though once I’m fixed up I’ll be free of the need for dental work for many years to come (fingers crossed)

She is the only dentist that I have met so far that I can tell she cares about her patients. I have been to so many other dentists who are so quick to recommend fillings and other procedures that are not necessary. I was so happy after my hygiene appointment with Charlotte. She is very thorough with the cleaning and she explained to me how to angle my brush, how to floss with the interdental brushes, and my teeth were so white and clean after this appointment. Honestly I cannot say enough good words about this place. The building is really clean and they have great facilities. I never have to wait for more than 5 minutes to be seen for my appointments. I had quite a bad experience with numerous dentists in the past which made me very anxious about attending the dentist again. My teeth were not in a good shape due to medical negligence and so could not smile the way I wanted to and was afraid they would fall out.
However at GSDL my treatment plan was thoroughly explained and any questions I had were answered in a clear understanding way which put my mind at ease. The staff provided excellent patient care throughout and are very happy to help.

I am supper satisfied with their services and treatment. First, Dr Nilesh went above and beyond to support me and design and put an amazing, comfy crown which I have ever had. It matches my teeth regarding in shape and colour. I used to have one and then it was fallen out three years ago, it used to irritate me a lot so I decided to keep myself without any crown.
I lost confidence in Dentists as most of them hurt my teeth Until I met with Dr Nilesh who changes the game! I am really happy, pleased and satisfied with my new crown, I never have any irritation or a feeling of something strange in my teeth.
Dr Nilesh was really knowledgeable and supper generous with details and gave me my time and explained everything to me.
He uses advanced technology and is so professional and has a very nice and confident personality.
Indeed, he supported and inspired me a lot as I am an overseas, junior doctor here. He gave me a beautiful, inspiring lesson on how to help and deal with my patients in the future without him knowing.

I had my initial consultation today with Dr Majed and I was thoroughly impressed. I have been with an NHS dentist all of my life and the difference was stark. The examination itself involved extra checks of my gum health, tartar and plaque, and my bite. My medical situation was discussed in detail and how this would affect my dental health, and this was handled sensitively. Dr Majed took the time to show me the results of my x-rays on the screen and explained why I needed the treatment that I do, so that I didn’t feel bamboozled into having treatment that I didn’t understand the reason for, and he gave me lots of oral health tips.
My appointment was on a Saturday and I was able to book in within a week. I was able to book a hygienist appointment after working hours, bearing in mind the practice is in the middle of offices, within two weeks.
I’m very pleased with my decision to move practices.

The prospect of going private for a split tooth issue was quite depressing given the state of my finances after covid shook the foundations of the industry I love. This place, however, has the nicest and most genuinely caring staff.
I had a consultation with 'Romina', and a subsequent extraction. Suffering from severe adhd, I've always found it extremely difficult to deal with even the simplest of dental procedures (my personality and second nature masking abilities completely dissipate and I become a mess); but I've never felt so calm, understood and in safe hands as I have with this lady.
My tooth was already in a dire state after 3 root canal attempts and a massive amalgam filling. The tooth came apart despite her best efforts, but she went overtime to try everything she could to get it out without me having to go to the hospital. It was a horrendous job to deal with and I was SO happy that she managed it. Let me just stress that the tooth breaking was NOTHING to do with ANY lack of skill. I'm SO surprised we got it done, considering how wrecked the tooth was.
There's a difference between ticking the boxes for "seem like you care" and actually genuinely caring, and these guys convinced me they firmly sit in the latter. One receptionist "Isobel" remembered a life update I'd told her two weeks prior when I barely even remembered it, and when she asked to see how it went, both her and her colleague were super intrigued and didn't need to rush on. If you're thinking about it, you know that this kind of authenticity reflects the values and management of the company itself.
I'm having a seriously stressful time with so many companies at the moment, and having a dentist be so amazing is an absolute blessing for my anxiety levels.
One further note is that while they do charge private prices, they're rarely as expensive as you predict, and they're extremely fair when it comes to charging.
This has been a garbled mess of comma splicing and word vomit, but being an ADHD riddled songwriter - what more would you expect.
Anyway - these guys are fantastic, and it's strange to say that a private price dentist has actually become one of the few sunbeams through the clouds of a very grey and oppressive sky.

Nilesh and his team are very professional. From initial consultation over a year ago, right through to extraction and implant (and everything in between) I found Nilesh to be very personable and friendly. I was always briefed about everything, given plenty of time for questions and generally put at ease - even through the less pleasant procedures.
It is a great setup there, very comfortable, luxurious and un-dentistlike. A couple of times I arrived from a work lunch and was able to brush my teeth using the provided brushes/toothpaste etc in the toilet before my appointment. It's a little extra touch which makes a difference.
Reception staff are efficient and always helpful, and I event got my young son in for an emergency appointment when he couldn't be seen anywhere else. I'd recommend Gartside and in particular Nilesh Bhatt to anyone.

I first visited GSDL a few weeks ago for a consultation. This is where I met Dr Romina, who, with the other staff helped me feel incredibly welcomed and comfortable.
First impressions of the place: clean, stylish and definitely a far cry from the usual cramped, often uncomfortable nhs waiting rooms, the receptionist (Steph, i think) is a proper diamond as well, really helpful and pleasant to talk to. (Its the above and beyond of this place that's made my current dental journey far more enjoyable than I imagined).
The consultation was actually a laugh, Dr Romina came up with a battle plan after a few x rays and a bit of poking around and just constantly reassured any worries I looked like I may have had and happily answered my questions.
I went on to have a CT scan a week later. This is where I first met Dr Nilesh. His appearance was immaculate like the practise and he was genuine and professional. I preempted the condition of my wisdom tooth and told them I believed this was an area of concern. The scan was highly informative to me as they showed me there and then how my teeth looked in x ray form but as a 3d view. (I love stuff like that so it was extra awesome getting shown this). They confirmed that my tooth did need extraction. This was booked in for the following week. (No waiting time is perfect for my busy schedule)
I visited the Hygienist for a 30 min session, I think with Amanda. Regardless, this person was so smiley and happy, her passion for oral hygiene was immediately contagious. She really went to town on my teeth and anyone that knows this process can know it's a little uncomfortable, and yet she made it breeze by. She gave me some really helpful advice that has already changed how I clean my teeth (I spent that night doing that tongue over teeth thing as they felt really polished and clean). I wouldn't say I'm looking forward to the process, but I am looking forward to the next visit.
So today (pre writing this review) I had my upper right wisdom tooth extracted. I had some real anxiety thinking about it over the previous week. I wasn't made to do this and I wasn't suffering the tooth pain you'd normally associate with the need to have one removed, but I just remained positive and even turned up a little earlier. Met by Steph(receptionist/admin) she greeted me with a smile, I sat down and waited a few minutes before Dr Nilesh came to get me. All i can say is that he was a truly great dude! He was so reassuring and professional, yet treated me like a friend that he actually really wanted to help. The whole process of removing my tooth seemed effortless for them, I stayed calm and steady and I can honestly say I actually felt no pain at all. When he removed the tooth, I was surprised as I didn't feel it go. You get that pulling sensation obviously but even then because it doesn't hurt it's totally tolerable and barely that uncomfortable. I didn't even feel any needle entry points bar one which felt like a tiny scratch. (He did say that would be the case
He loaded me up with post op care info and a "goody bag" containing numerous medical bits and info sheets.
They ordered me a cab and along I went.
They rang me to make sure I got home ok. (Those details again because would they NHS have done that??)
This brilliant level shown so far has brought me here to review them to say thank you for being truly amazing and keep doing what you do!
I highly recommend this practise for anyones dental needs.

Before having Invisalign I thought orthodontic treatment would mean traditional braces and a long, painful process. It wasn't like that at all and within 10 months I had finished and felt proud of my smile. Invisalign is not painful - sometimes you feel pressure on your teeth when you change to a new tray but overall it is a pain-free and gradual process. I would 100% recommend Gartside Dental Lounge to anyone looking to improve their smile and feel more confident. I was referred to Gartside Dental Lounge when my permanent retainer broke and was causing me a lot of discomfort. I visited Gardside Street Dental lounge for a treatment with Romina and she took her time to explain what need to be done and process. I am terrified of dentists but Romina know how to calm me done for the treatment. I would recommend anyone to Gardside Dental Lounge.
