Recently I had to have an extraction and dreaded it after an experience many years ago at another dentist.
It couldn't have gone better. My dentist Dr.Qayum put me at ease from the moment I arrived. He explained the process and after care and that I would have it all in writing as well (very good as I was to nervous to take it all in). He spoke quietly and put me at my ease. I was encouraged to raise my hand at any time to halt the work. It 2as over quite quickly and Dr Qayum again talked to me and checked I was ok. He assured me I could return at any time if there was any problems. I left feeling so much better not only had my toothache ceased but I felt confident that if I ever need another extraction I won't be afraid. I have thanked the team as from the minute I walk into the Practice until I leave all the staff are friendly and the service excellent.

Dr Alicia Zavar at Sherwood Medical Practice was honestly amazing with my mum during her dental check-up and tooth extraction. The whole procedure took quite a while, but she never once seemed rushed or impatient.
She kept my mum calm the entire time with constant reassurance, speaking to her gently, checking in on her, and just making sure she felt okay throughout.

Had a consultation before Christmas with Dr All for composite bonding. He was very clear, precise, and explained everything in a way could easily understand, which I really appreciated.
He gave me a few options, including a "try before you buy option, which tiked, even though it come at an extra cost
On the day of the procedure (14th January 2026, I was quite nervous, but Dr Ali immediately put me at ease
He explained every step of the process as we went along, which helped me feel comfortable throughout.
Initially, he advised the treatment would take around 2 hours, but it ended up taking over 3 hours because Dr Ali truly went the extra mile.
He clearly explained why it was taking longer and what extra steps he was doing differently to ensure the best result.
I was more than 100% happy with the final outcome.
Dr Ali focuses on QUALITY, not quantity and the results speak for themselves. The sky is truly the limit.

I recently joined Sherwood Dental Practice after previously being at a different practice where I’d had a large amount of work done. Due to past experiences, anxiety and lack of flexibility at my previous practice, I’d struggled for a long time with getting things properly fixed.
I was recommended to Sherwood specifically Dr Daji, through a family friend, and the difference has been incredible. From the very start, everything was communicated clearly and professionally, which immediately put me at ease. Dr Daji has such a calm approach, the treatments have been completely painless, and the attention to detail is excellent.
Appointments have also been really flexible around my work, which has made things so much easier. Most importantly, I’ve felt genuinely comfortable and haven’t felt anxious at all — which is something I never thought I’d say about the dentist.
I couldn’t recommend Dr Daji and the team at Sherwood highly enough.

I’m pretty nervous going to the dentist, and was previously put off by the attitude of a dentist who does not work here anymore so avoided coming to the practice. Umar was completely different- managed my expectations of firstly what could be completed under NHS bandings and did not pressure me into private costs; went over what might happen to my teeth with a care plan; and most importantly was very patient and calm.
I had a procedure done and I was so nervous- Chanel held my hand! She was really sweet and didn’t make me feel silly for asking.

I began my Invisalign treatment at this dental practice a while ago, but I wasn’t very committed and didn’t attend my appointments as I should have. Despite that, Dr Alam has been incredible from start to finish – informative, supportive, and extremely patient. She never gave up on my smile, even when I did.
This place has an amazing team, all working together to give you exactly what you need. From Invisalign (including regular scans to assess my teeth), to visits with the hygienist, and then to the composite bonding – every step was coordinated to build this smile.
My treatment had two phases. Phase one was managed by Dr Alam with Invisalign, and phase two was carried out by Dr Ali. He completed the composite bonding to close the gaps, and it was truly the finishing touch – he’s a fantastic dentist with real artistry. I couldn’t be more grateful to both of them..
Overall, 10/10. I can’t recommend this dental practice highly enough.

hall greens hidden gem, what a positive experience from start to finish ive had. my 7 year old needed seeing in an emergency and abbie went above and beyond in advising us about the processes, showing real concern for my little one and the pain she was in and getting us booked in. our appointment with Dr Alishia and sonia was nothing but brilliant, the empathetic support and care giving extra attention to my little one guiding her every step of the way making her feel at ease at a daunying procedure, she left so happy and had the best experience. We really apreciated being taken care of by the lovely staff at this dentist and we would very much like to all move over if they were open to taking on new NHS patients. I went to Sherwood Dental Practice today, and honestly—it was an amazing experience from start to finish.
I haven’t been to the dentist in four years, and I was really nervous about going. I live abroad, and there’s no dentist where I am, so coming back and having to face this was pretty daunting. But the moment I walked in, I was made to feel completely at ease.
I was seen by Dr. Tausif and his assistant, Cerys, and they gave me the most incredible care. There was no judgment at all, even though my teeth weren’t in great shape—I needed four fillings. They were kind, calm, and clear. They laid out a simple plan, and everything was explained in such a straightforward way that the fear just disappeared.
The equipment was amazing. They x-rayed my teeth in seconds by clipping something on, and I got a full high-res image of all my teeth right in front of me. It was all so clear and modern. That kind of clarity makes such a difference—when you understand what’s going on, it’s no longer scary.
And the setting! I was sitting comfortably in the chair, with proper air-con, and a beautiful skylight right above me. It felt more like a luxury spa than a dentist’s office. The whole place is just state of the art, but also warm and welcoming.
And the most surprising part? I had four fillings, and I didn’t even feel any pain. In fact, I enjoyed the experience, which is something I never thought I’d say about going to the dentist!
Tausif is so professional and diligent—he really knows his craft. He’s a master at what he does. And Cerys is amazing too: kind, reassuring, and attentive the whole time.
I’d 100% recommend Sherwood Dental Practice—especially if you’re nervous or haven’t been to a dentist in a while. You’ll feel safe, respected, and well cared for. Honestly, it was a five-star experience in every way.

I had the Enlighten teeth whitening treatment with the support of my dentist, and I couldn’t be happier! The results were far better than I expected—my teeth are so much whiter, and I feel so confident. Despite having hereditary gum disease (which my dentist and hygienist Fatima, carefully managed over the yrs), the teeth whitening process I followed at home has transformed my teeth and smile.
The experience was truly amazing, the trays fit well, able to use with no discomfort through out the night. There was some teeth sensitivity experienced, but the pen applicator supplied, really helped, only needed to use it once. The results were overwhelmingly good. I didn’t need to use the final week syringe for the full 7 days, as I was happy with the level of whitening achieved thus stopped the treatment 5 days earlier.
Dr Ali, reviewed my treatment, teeth, gums and etc, he was pleased with the results and my level of satisfaction,the positive experience I had from start to finish. He even took pictures of my new smile and displayed them on the TV screen, I must say I looked awesome!!
He made me feel valued and gave me plenty of helpful tips and hacks to maintain the results, along with advice for top-up treatments in the future. I’m thrilled with my brighter, healthier smile and highly recommend this EVO 4 teeth whitening treatment at Sherwood dental clinic.

One of my lower bottom front teeth needed to be removed and after discussing this with my dentist, Dr Keval Vadukal, I decided on a Maryland Bridge. At the same time I enquired about the Enlighten tooth whitening system. Keval was very knowledgeable about the product and through my various appointments leading up to my bridge fitting I took the opportunity of asking him many questions on the whitening process. He was very thorough and answered all my concerns from the start of the process right through to the end and the results I could expect. I felt confident and at ease with Keval and decided once the bridge was fitted I would go ahead. All my consultations with Keval both before and after were professional and thorough. Although I do generally have some tooth sensitivity, the pre-treatment sensitivity toothpaste helped with this.The process itself was simple to follow and I was really happy with the final results.

What can I say…. Not your usual dentist at all!
Nothing is ever too much trouble. I had a mild case where I only needed a 7 week Invisalign due to some movement on my bottom teeth. This was treated as importantly as any other case and Farah understood exactly what I wanted to achieve.
Every appointment the staff always have a smile on their face. The vibe in the dentist is enjoyable and friendly.
Even at the end of my treatment there was one tooth at the side (a canine) with a mark on from its attachment, however they got me booked in there and then to put this right where most dentists would just wave goodbye.
Real experts at what they do, cannot recommend enough! Very happy!

I've been with Dr Miten Daji for 5 years. He's always smiling and welcoming each time I see him.. Even though I live 1hr bus trip from where I live now since I joined the practice I refuse to change to another.
Months ago he's fitted me a sticky bridge. This is supposed to be temporary and that it can fall easily, but it was all I could have afforded at the time as an NHS patient. I've bitten by accident a bone on that side of the mouth, I think it has damaged my lower molars as there's pain when chewing but not on the one the sticky bridge has been fitted on to!!!
So much respect for Dr. Daji. I've had to get some work done while he was on holiday by another dentist at the practice and it was no where close to what I've been felt as welcome/cared for as Dr. Daji made me feel like.
I recommend this practice as they have a good system and receptionists, but when it comes to a dentist to pick he's the best. Thank you for everything.

One of the most, if not most professional dental surgeries i’ve ever been to. I travelled all the way from nottingham as my permanent metal retainer broke. I was greeted by an exceptional dentist that goes by the name of Dr Zain Qayum. I am so grateful for the simply outstanding skill and care Dr Singh showed to my son today. My son attended needing to have a tooth extracted in preparation for a brace. My son was incredibly nervous, anxious and frightened about the pain and yet through the patience and extraordinary communication skills of Dr Singh, the process was able to be successfully completed when at times I thought it would be impossible.
Dr Singh showed deep empathy and care to my son, that was humbling to see. I have been a patient at Sherwood Dental Practice for all my dental needs for many years.
I was never the biggest fan of my smile and it wasn't until Dr Ali invited me in for a complimentary consultation that I
realized why.
I've always been consciously aware of the spacing issue across my smile, and if truth be told, it didn't look very appealing to the eye.
I had my initial consultation in 2019 to see what Invisalign could accomplish and it was at this time that I found out along with my spacing issue that my bite was also way off and I was so impressed with what i was shown after my consultation with how my smile could look like after treatment but unfortunately life got in the way and I didn't bite. pun intended
Forward to November 2021, I came across a black Friday offer Sherwood Dental Practice was promoting for invisalign, and it was during this period that a friend of mine Shazad was also looking into getting treatment with Invisalign I told him about the Black Friday offer and we both decided to go for it!
I had an online video consultation with Niki, who explained everything again to me in great detail, and I began my treatment in April 2022.
I completed my invisalign treatment to correct my bite and bring the gaps in around February 2023, and I was over the moon with the results.
The guidance and support from Farah, Sonam, and the rest of the team during my treatment was simply extraordinary. I truly can not thank you enough. Incredible service!!
I was seen by Dr Ali during my whitening treatment, which by the way was complimentary as part of my invisalign package. We had a brief chat about composite bonding to finish off and really bring out my smile.
Fast forward to today, 9th March 2023. I was in with Dr Ali and Louise, who really spent their time with me to do my composite bonding, and as i type this review, my cheeks are hurting as I have not stopped smiling all day
I'm absolutely blown away and chuffed to bits with the finished result.

I had crooked bottom teeth (was struggling to floss) and I had brown staining from years of smoking too. I had the Invisalign package from Farah & co and my teeth are now straight as can be, flossing is no issue and they look exactly how I wanted them to. I had considered Invisalign and composite bonding for a number of years but had always been somewhat put-off by the pressure tactics of some of the more commercial dental chains.
I came across Sherwood Dental on Instagram and knew from the initial consultation with Dr Farah that they could be trusted with my teeth. She listened carefully to my desired outcome and the treatment was catered exactly to my needs. I was even able to see a projection of what my teeth should look like at the end of the treatment.
Once I started my Invisalign journey, I was booked in for regular checkups - nothing is too much effort at Sherwood Dental and they are always on hand to answer any questions regardless of how big or small.
After being very happy with my end results, I booked in for composite bonding with Dr Ali. He provides an extremely friendly and cheerful service, and really takes the time to get to know his patients.
I am so happy with my end results and dare say, I actually enjoyed coming to the dentist. This is a business that is run by people who genuinely love their job and it shows!

Where do I start.. outstanding customer care from front of house to all of the dentists in particular Dr Ali and Dr Farah who I see on a regular basis. I also use Fatima the hygienist who is so pleasant and nurturing and nothing is ever too much. They treat me like family and go over and above. The staff all enjoy their job and it shows. I have recommended friends and they really do embrace you like family. They always have the most up-to-date information and equipment and I feel safe and fully informed about whatever treatment I have (currently finishing off Invisalign treatment) They are super busy so if you do have an appointment- keep it and make sure that you rebook the next.
One more thing: I had an oral heath scare and Dr Farah made sure Dr Ali (who was working on a patient) immediately stopped what he was doing to check me over and reassured me that all was ok.They will rally round you when and if needed. In my 46 years on this earth I have been to many dentists and Sherwood Dental by far really does stand out.

I was able to get an appointment quickly to see Dr Ali who re prepared the crown in the same visit which was really convenient for me. The care and patience that Dr Ali and his team show towards his patients is definitely first class. The admin team are very patient and helpful- either over the phone or face to face. The dentists - i normally see Dr Ali , but have seen Dr Jheinga and Dr Bhanji - are such professionals and take the effort to explain each procedure they undertake. The nurses are very gentle and professional too! The facilities at the practise get better year on year yet the prices are still affordable. I began my Invisalign journey in Abu Dhabi and relocated to UK mid treatment. Sherwood dental (Dr.Farah) agreed to take me on mid way and she was so knowledgeable and approachable about my plan and a pleasure to be seen by.
After completing my treatment with Dr.Farah, I was then seen by Dr.Ali, who provided me with the greatest bonding to my top four teeth and I am beyond thrilled with my final result. He also fixed a long standing issue with a chip that I had and furthermore corrected the treatment from Abu Dhabi; which was a result of using the wrong type of glue material for my Invisalign bands.

First time every I have straight teeth, it took a while to recognise myself. Having them fixed was not as hard as I imagined. I needed three teeth out, and even with a genetic disorder that makes most local anesthetic not work. Dr Ali found one that works and the teeth came out and a new bridge went in all at the same time. Im a little baffled at these bad reviews ...My experience was nothing short of 5* at Sherwood Dental Practice today. The reception staff were polite, efficient and helpful. Dr Ali and his clinical team were fantastic they explained everything to me thoroughly to explain each step until I understood the full process. He was in no rush to get me out the door as I have experienced with other dental practices rather he made sure I was happy with my service and gave me a full check on everything. His added witt and charisma was a bonus to the positive experience making it a pleasant surprise compared to traditional negative stereotypes of dentists.

I cannot thank Dr Amandeep Singh Sodhi and all the staff at Sherwood Dental Practice enough throughout my tooth implant Journey. To get to the final stage of my tooth implant it had been quite a long journey from December 2019 to November 2020. It started with having root canal procedures to try and save the tooth, then extraction to unfortunately getting dry socket, then deciding on a tooth implant.
I am an extremely nervous patient and throughout the whole experience Amandeep was excellent and put me at ease as I find this type of thing terrifying. He explained everything to me every step of the way. When I had dry socket, I was booked in often last minute by the wonderful understanding reception staff and received fantastic treatments. Amandeep is very understanding, caring, extremely knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed with regards to my options and answered all my questions. He contacted me after each stage to check how I was doing. Also, he put up with my nervousness!!
I am extremely happy with the result and the tooth is a great match it just feels and looks like my old tooth and this is down to his excellent work. He did a great color match as it blends in well with the rest and I cannot now tell the difference. I hope I never have another tooth out again but if I do Amandeep is the only person who I will allow and trust to carry out future work.
At Sherwood Dental Practice I receive a level of care that I have not experienced with other dentists in the past and they put me at ease. I found this dentist on returning from living abroad as my current partner recommended them and he also receives great care. I also visit Fatima, the hygienist, every 3 months who is fantastic. I decided to change my dentist as she only wanted to take out my molar without considering a root canal treatment.
The reception transferred me to Dr Bhanji. I told him my concerns about not wanting a molar extraction but to keep the tooth.
Dr Bhanji did x-rays, and different checks to see how he can save the tooth. In respecting my wishes, he is conscientious in his approach. With much effort, Dr Bhanji completed the root canal treatment successfully, effectively saving my molar. I am a very happy and thankful customer. I am glad my family and I are his patients.

The 5 star rating I'm leaving here is for my new dentist Mr Kazim Mirza who I think is probably the best cosmetic and general dentist I have seen anywhere in the UK so far. I have been to private only dentists which costs way more and have received poor standards of treatment. I have also changed my young daughter's dentist to Mr Mirza which has really helped with her self confidence, she said "wow" after seeing the results! Visited Sherwood Dental Practice after breaking a back tooth;they were recommended to me by a family friend and people at work.
I was very anxious about going following a bad experience at my last practice. When i arrived i was greeted by friendly staff and was impressed by the reception area which is very grand. I was personally escorted to the surgery by my new dentist who took me into the surgery. In the past i felt rushed in and out of my last practice but here i was treated as if my dentist really cared and had all the time in the world. I was given an estimate for the treatment i needed for my new cap and escorted to the reception again personally by the dentist and introduced to the head receptionist. This was very refreshing as previously at my old practice i usually would have no idea what my bill would be until i got to the reception counter and the receptionist would always seem annoyed and inconvenienced. I have been booked back in for my treatment and feel relaxed about going back. Thank you all at Sherwood for restoring my faith, your professionalism and care.
