I recently visited Shinfield dental centre and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Dr. Samah was exceptional in every way. She was incredibly professional, quick, and had a warm, friendly demeanor that made me and my son feel at ease.
What truly impressed me was how they handled my 5-year-old son's first dental visit. The staff went out of their way to make him feel comfortable and relaxed. In fact before the visit my son said he is a bit scared to see the dentist. But after meeting Dr. Samah he came out gleaming like he's been to the park! It's clear that they have a genuine understanding of children's needs and how to put them at ease.

As a person that had bad memories of going to the dentist as a child, which didn’t get better as I got older, I had to book an emergency appointment as I had broken tooth. After ringing my own dentist and others without any luck, I called and got an appointment. The staff were very polite and helpful and the building very modern and clean. On being called in I was treated like a human rather then just the next patient, I was told all of my options and talk to all the way though the extraction that I had Great service and I will be moving to them from my current dentist,

I had a procedure here yesterday to remove a damaged wisdom tooth and could not recommend this practise enough. Originally my appointment was on Monday and he said he could do the removal there and then but I wasn’t quite ready. I am extremely nervous going to the dentist but I was looked after so well by everyone. The receptionist let me take my time, made me a glass of water and the dentist was so encouraging. He promised me it would take “seconds” and it quite literally did. There was no pain from the injections because he made such an effort and the whole experience was nothing as I imagined. They also did it at the end of the day at 5pm after they had closed because he didn’t want me to be in pain anymore!
I would not be nervous to have another procedure done at this practise by this dentist. Sadly I didn’t catch his name.

Working away in the area . Spent two days trying to get an emergency appointment at other Dental practices. Shinfield phoned me to inform they had a slot for me . Could not of been more happy. The service I received was second to none . Ended up having a extraction . I was very well advised by the dentist. It was a tough ' job ' but the dentist was very professional and caring . Eventually the tooth lost and I am pain free . I'm sorry I didn't get the dentist ( may of been Dr Kaura ) and dental nurses name but thank you very much . Very satisfied patient

I would highly recommend Shinfield dental surgery. I do not usually enjoy the experience of visiting the dentist and can confirm I am a nightmare patient who panics about everything. However, my latest experience has genuinely changed that.
I had an emergency appointment with a tooth that after careful thought was going to be extracted. This was very upsetting but due to the tooth it was unlikely I could save it and a specialist at root canal would have cost me over £800. This is where the dentists at Shinfield went above and beyond in my opinion. Dr. Khokhar saw me for the emergency and then I went to my dentist Dr Tariq who took an X-ray before extraction and sent it to Dr Khokhar as my dentist also felt it was too difficult to attempt root canal. Dr. Khokhar said he’d give it a go. Now I am not one to yell ‘YaY. Root canal.’ However, losing a tooth at my age is not on my to do list either. So he ‘gave it a go’ and it was a success and he was ‘very pleased.’ In fact I think he said he was very pleased three times which is confirmation that it all went well. So I am sat here after my final trip having had root canal and a new crown fitted all under the NHS. From a very caring, dedicated dentist who will also make you laugh. The team at the surgery are lovely. Catherine on reception is friendly and helpful and reassuring. Diana is a great dental nurse and kept me calm in that first emergency appointment when all I wanted to do was run home! My actual dentist Dr. Tariq was careful with the X-ray and happy to not extract the tooth but to let Dr. Khokhar take over.
Sorry for the essay but if you are a nervous patient like me (I have been known to cancel the anaesthetic with my nervous adrenaline) it is very reassuring to know that there is an NHS dentist who will remember you are a person whilst still doing a quick and efficient job.

Majid my dentist was amazing. He took on a challenge by taking over work that had already been partially complete by a private dentist. In the process, gave me a hygiene, made me a mouth guard (which I had been asking my previous dentist for ages and refused!) and generally gave me a really good experience. Very friendly staff, and great dentist. I called up the practice for an emergency appointment as I was in a lot of pain with my broken tooth. I got in on the day and saw Dr Kokhar who was very friendly and professional. He took and exray and informed me I had an infection and tooth needed treatment so he gave me a huge dose of anaesthetic and took the nerve out. That was a couple of days ago and I am absolutely pain free. Thank God he saved the tooth and he visibly cared instead of rushing me out of the door. Brilliant service I can only recommend!
