I’m dental phobic. Other than a couple of visits to Guys & St Thomas’s Dental Hospital I hadn’t been to the dentist for the best part of 33yrs. But (in desperate need of getting my dental hygiene sorted) I decided to try L&Y on the basis of all their 5-star reviews. Being honest, even with the appointment it was touch and go if I would turn up. And previously even when I have ‘gone’ to a Dentist, I haven’t made it beyond the front door. But L&Y is completely different. No funny smells or loud noises - an environment that is calming and pristinely clean. The Dentist and Assistant were both superb, their kindness was above and beyond. By the end of my Appointment I’d had a full examination, X-rays and even a clean and polish!! I’m booked again for 6-months time and determined to keep on top of my fears. We’re lucky to have L&Y on the high street of Northwood. Believe the 5-Star Reviews, AMAZING!

This was my first visit with L&Y Dental Practice and I have say I was impressed.
The staff are super friendly and professional. I saw Dr Kritanjli who offered excellent advice in regards to my on going problems with my wisdom teeth. I was recommended a clean and saw the hygienist Anny and she was fantastic - very careful and gentle not to aggravate my already very sensitive teeth and gums.
I definitely recommend trying this practice, it’s clean, there technology is current, so the dentist gets a good look at what happening under and around the teeth and jaw and most importantly for me is that I didn’t feel nervous or uncomfortable at any point during my visit.

My Invisalign journey at the beautiful L & Y Dental Practice began in April 22. The whole team at the clinic (Laxmi, Yasmin, Pooja, Natasha, Alex, Vaselena, Jane) have been exceptional.
I was first seen by Pooja, the hygeniest who is so good especially with patients who have a fear of dentists. She immediately put me at ease and gave painless treatment.
The process of my Invisalign treatment was very well explained to me by the very amazing dentist, Yasmin. She has two weekly reviews with me and monitors my improvement at each stage. The appointments are never rushed and she is always happy to answer any questions I have.
The ever smiling Natasha and Laxmi at the reception desk always check up on how I am doing at the arrival of my appointment, which shows how friendly and caring they are.
There is already a vast improvement in my teeth and I cannot wait to see the end result!
I have no hesitation in recommending the team at L & Y Dental to anyone looking to get Invisalign done :)

I met Lakshmi during the covid lockdown and we formed our friendship. We went for walks and she spoke about her desire for the practice. Over time the practice became a reality. She wanted the place to be the best at what they do. She expects everything to tick the mark. So recently we went for our walks and I needed dental care so I reach out to her. My first treatment was awesome, the experience from the reception to the treatment room was so encouraging. I have visited the practice three time for treatment and the experience have been great. This place is incredible. The interior makes it feel more like a luxury spa rather than a dentist and the calming view of trees and blue sky you have when you lie down on the dentists chair and look up is great for making you feel relaxed. The staff are wonderful and so knowledgable! I am currently doing a course of teeth whitening with them and the results have been incredible so far. They’ve been incredibly thorough and I couldn’t recommend this dentist enough!

So I have had a slight fear of going to the Dentist and I've neglected my teeth to the point where extreme pain brought me here. I have to say hand on heart the team here have looked after me so well. From the moment you walk through the door your greeted with a warm smile and this continues into the dentist's room. I have just had a wisdom tooth taken out and the experience was amazing and I might add painless.. (Who'd of thought it) I have follow up treatment and I'm actually looking forward to it and I never thought I'd say that.. this is a wonderful surgery with genuinely lovely people at it's heart..

I contacted L & Y dental as I was having severe toothache, they saw me the same day as an emergency patient, upon entering I was greeted and made to feel relaxed and very welcome, all 4 staff on site at the time had the same high level of patient care. The dentist saw me straight away and once the examination was complete, they thoroughly explained my options moving forward in a easy to understand way. Various staff members have also contacted me on the following 3 days after my treatment to see how I am. I’m now registering with L&Y with my partner and our daughter. Visiting a dental practice after Covid was unnerving at first, but L&Y Dental - all the staff, made me feel very comfortable and confident in my visits.
I first saw Dentist Kritanjli, who was very informative and knowledgable to say the least. She explained all processes of examining my teeth and made me aware of everything that she was doing while simplifying explanations enough for me to understand perfectly. I mentioned some issues I was having with my wisdom teeth, and the dentist was keen to help me sort this issue out without over complicating it. Kritanjli and the whole staff on this visit were very welcoming and friendly, but still showed proffessionalism in every aspect of the visit.
I returned for a hygeinist appointment with Pooja, who instantly made getting my teeth cleaned feel like it isn't a chore. Pooja was very insightful about how to further take care of my dental health moving forward and showed me certain techniques to floss - if there was a championship for cleaning teeth, Pooja would get Gold every time. She was very meticulous and did not leave a single spec of anything on my teeth that shouldn't be there. Her further advice on how to brush effectively, using specific toothpastes to cater to my needs and improve my dental health were very well received and she'd be glad to know I have already made a start on my new found brushing techniques.
Overall, I will definitely continue visiting L&Y Dental as I can genuinely trust them with my dental care and their advice on all things teeth!

Besides of being a beautiful practice, the staff is truly amazing and the quality of the treatment they have done is unbelievable for the price I paid -also they offer finance so it was great for me to split with no interest-. Also, they have little details that really make a difference to me (like being an eco-friendly practice, having always water and coffee available etc)

I was seen by the hygienist pooja today. You can know from the way she cares for her patients that she is very knowledgeable and good at her job and clearly loves what she is doing!
During the treatment she was very gentle and caring and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort during the whole process. She also gave me a lot of helpful tips and advised me on how to care for my teeth.
I would recommend any patient to see Pooja in the practise. I wouldn't see any other hygienist anymore. I am a patient for life now

The hygienist, Pooja, was brilliant! I was very nervous at the beginning but Pooja made me feel comfortable and allowed me to have little breaks so my jaw won’t feel tired. No pain, no sensitivity!

I can not praise this Dental surgery enough . I needed to get some treatment done that I felt I needed , I was already feeling nervous before I went , and wasn’t sure what I needed. I was greeted by a lovely young lady at the reception who straight away made me feel so comfortable. I briefly explained to her what my concerns were. She was very attentive and understood my concerns and introduced me to the dentist . Throughout my consultation as a patient they made me feel in control of my treatment. They were very honesty and showed a lot of compassion: The Dentists had explained in detail but in simple terms on diagnosis, treatment and preventative care. I didn’t understand alot of the technical side of things but again they were patient with me and explained everything and made sure I understood and was comfortable. The service was extremely good, and I have to say the atmosphere and overall vibe was so relaxing , I loved the ceilings in the surgery 🏝🏖 Hard to believe it’s a dental practice x

Thank you to everyone at the practice for providing a great service with a personable touch. I originally went in for composite bonding but Dr Yasmin showed me the merits of Invisalign and I’m so glad she did. Just 3 weeks left of my plan and I’m so happy with the results.
The whole experience has been pleasant and seamless and whenever I have encountered an issue (such as losing my trays!), Dr Yasmin has been very responsive and quick to sort it out. I massively recommend Invisalign to anyone who is looking to improve their smile.

I went to Dr Yasmin to have my first ever lip filler and before I enter, I was honestly terrified. I had no idea what to expect and I have never had any procedure like this done in the past. I have hated my teeth for as long as I can remember but I have a huge fear of the dentist so I have never been brave enough to do anything about it. I heard about composite bonding from a friend and started making enquires as I was told it was painless and didn’t alter your own teeth at all. I had a few video consultations with other Dental Studios where I was originally told one price but by the end of the consultation it had doubled so I got a little disheartened. I saw a Facebook add for L&Y Dental and as I live close by, I booked a consultation. I immediately felt this was the place for me. Ever member of staff was professional, friendly and honest. Exceptionally honest. They did not try to sell me other services and the very reasonable price they advertised remained exactly the same at the end of my consultation and was what I paid at the end of treatment. They told me I was a good candidate and that whilst the end result wouldn’t be 100% perfect (because of the position of my existing teeth) they felt that they could really help improve the appearance of my teeth. So I booked in for it. I had the bonding 3 days ago and I can honestly say that I have never been happier with anything I have done in all of my life. They are perfect. Absolutely perfect. And naturally perfect not bright white, fake looking teeth perfect. They are the kind of teeth where people are commenting on how well I look but they don’t really know why. This was what I had hoped for. I didn’t want my teeth to arrive before my face! The procedure was absolutely pain free, the staff amazingly kind and helpful and they have achieved the impossible. I can now smile with my mouth open and wear lipstick which helps high light how beautiful, white and straight my teeth now are. I genuinely cannot recommend L&Y Dental enough. I am so grateful to them. I have perfect teeth!

I had braces as a child, and had a phobia of dentists ever since. 18 years later, after really not looking after my teeth at all and being in pretty bad shape I finally reached out to my local dentist, and to my good fortunate I picked L&Y. The dentist was very gentle, very kind, and very understanding. She put my mind at ease, gave me an understanding of what I needed to do and the (I think I’m using the right word here) treatment coordinator took me through my the suggested course of treatment. The receptionist was very friendly and professional when I made my visits, the pricing of the treatment was I felt very fair, and while I’ve not got perfect teeth yet (given the abuse they’ve had over the last 18 years that’s a given really), 2 visits later I’ve got a lot of confidence in my smile. The treatment was extensive but the dentist was very gentle throughout as I say, explained everything really well, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout. I can’t thank or praise the team at L&Y highly enough. Definitely a patient for life here.

I was a patient of Dr Yasmin in her previous practice, when the pandemic hit and they were forced to close I was very sad with the prospect of not being able to continue my dental work with her.
Now that Yasmin is trading again at L&Y I am so pleased I can continue all work, although it takes me over an hour of travel to the practice, it's worth the effort.

The dental practice is very clean, beautiful and welcoming, located very close to the tube station and the parking is very easy as well. After some bad experiences, I had my first consultation today and I am very impressed with the service provided.
From the moment they called me to book an appointment -I provided my details through the website for them to contact me- the receptionist was nice and friendly. Then the nurse and the dentist were GREAT! Seriously, checked all my teeth making sure I was feeling allright, took Xrays and photos and then explained all what I need and my options very clear. As they had time, I had the hygiene done as well. No pain at all. They made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Everything looks clean and it is a very relaxing enviroment (I am very scared of dentists!!)
