I've been going to Harborne Dental for a while now and the service has always been excellent from all the staff. I've had some fillings done and my dentist is clearly well versed in keeping patients calm when injecting anaesthetic, not that I needed because I'm used to it so I've never been phased by it. I had a chipped tooth last week that wasn't causing issues but I got seen within a few days and it was an easy fix. I also like that they don't try to sell you extra services as they do offer cosmetic procedures (teeth whitening etc), but I've never had anyone try to sell these, which is always amazing because you get a lot of people trying to sell you things you don't want/need so I'm always happy to not be bothered. Staff are all friendly and helpful and reception are always happy to explain your invoice, I was just curious why I was charged an emergency consult fee, and it was explained clearly. I definitely recommend them and I'm always happy with the service.

I was treated by Abu and his lovely assistants. One of my teeth needed a crown and today, April 13th, I had the first part of the treatment and a temporary crown has been installed. I have been a patient at Harborne Dental since 1982. The practice was originally set up in Handsworth Wood by Chris Gattas before moving to Harborne. My teeth at first visit were in a very poor state a a result of neglect and poor dentistry. I could easily have lost all of my teeth at that time but they were saved by the remarkable skill of Chris. Since that time my teeth have survived over the subsequent 42 years and counting by the dedication and skill of first Chris and in latter years Kirsty Robinson. The practice also has a friendly atmosphere and is run extremely efficiently. I cannot recommend them highly enough and long may they continue.

I had such a great experience at this dentist. The staff are so welcoming. I had a chipped tooth from the age of 18, and after endless dentist trips trying to get a filling that looked good. Kirsty recommended a bio-clear filling which matched my original tooth & didn’t look like a filling was placed over my tooth. I’m so happy with the results. My fear is the whole experience and dental pain is my only reason for visiting. I have had terrible problems with my teeth for a couple of years now and I had to have a large tooth removed as it was infected. Ash removed it so quickly without any problems and I genuinely felt no pain after the procedure (I have had some awful tooth extractions before!). I haven't had any problems since and it's been nearly two years.

My dentist retired, and I decided to try Harborne after a recommendation, as a very nervous patient who doesn’t like pain I was worried I needn’t have been.
Upon entering the practise the staff are very welcoming and professional I saw a dentist called Ashwin Parekh, he’s was very professional and seems to take an interest in you as a patient as well as your teeth. I had a broken tooth that needed to be removed I wasn’t keen, Ashwin assured me it would not hurt and would be a quick procedure, he wasn’t wrong not only did it not take long,other than the injection I never felt a thing.
Over all I would recommend this practise and Ashwin as a Dentist. The practise is very clean and up to date compared to my last Dentist.

Excellent. So I have had bad experiences in the past and was petrified but knew I needed to go. Everyone was polite and lovely in reception and the dental nurses (Suman) were even better, very sociable and caring.
Ash is my dentist and I thoroughly recommend him. Made me feel as ease, talked me through the process (as I needed a few fillings), calmed me down if needed to. Listened to me.
I do have to wait longer than I'd like in the waiting area but I'm happy to sit and wait.
